About a month ago, I bought a new HP Notebook. For the time I've had it, I haven't downloaded anything that comes from an untrusted source.I was just minding my own business when this black command prompt box appears on my screen, disappearing as fast as it had appeared.
I believe this pops up every 5 minutes or so. I've taken a picture of what it looks like. Not all of the commands are loaded in the photo, but I think only the title is needed, which I have.
The title mentions something about the 'HP Software Framework'. So I believe that this problem has something to do with that, but I have zero clue on how to fix it.Any help would be greatly appreciated!(I also don't know if the product name was right. I looked at the video, and found the word product with that gibberish beside it. If that's not the actual product name, I can try looking for it again.). I downloaded and installed the latest version and set it to, 'never check for updates.' This seemed to make things better, but the sudden windows did continue to happen.I recently found another article actually via a link from the HP Support Assistant software, that showed me how to disable the Support Assistant from appearing automatically. Upon applying that fix, so far I have had no more issues.I am hoping that my problem is now fixed, but it will take a few more computer sessions to truely see.If anyone is curious. Follow this link to that support document I found on the HP website:I will post again with an update in the near future.Thanks,Michael.
