Mount And Blade Warband Female Face Mod

19

I'm wondering if there are any good looking armor mods that have female armor with a touch of femininity without being the ridiculous, asinine 'battle bikini' or 'evony elven' nonsense, but actual, feasible armor. Also, I'm using Floris, but I know how to add new armors to the mod.And please don't jump on my case about how 'unrealistic' it is like they tend to do on the Taleworlds forums. Calradia exists in a world where a woman can stride onto the battlefield and single-handedly slaughter a dozen or more enemy soldiers, so I'm perfectly reasonable in assuming that woman warriors are not as unheard of there as they are in our own history.TL;DR - Are there any good female armor mods that look practical and can be implemented into a Floris installation?. Female armor with a touch of femininity.but actual, feasible armorYou can't have your cake and eat it too. Feasible armor can't have any of the touches of femininity, such as being figure hugging or revealing. Real armor needs to cover everywhere to keep you safe and can't be figure hugging to allow for movement in combat. Not everything in M&B is 100% realistic, but the armor in M&B is based on real armor. If you want something feminine, put on the some of the dresses in the game. Just don't expect them to provide any protection.

Or maybe get a pink hauberk?. I knew I'd get a response like this.

Blade

Sad, really.I'm not looking for 'figure-hugging' or 'revealing' armor, here, but somehow I knew someone would interpret my request as such because people prefer to just make assumptions rather than thinking logically. In a world where women can don armor and fight in battle, and are physically on par with men, it's not outrageous to think that a woman with the financial means might add some cosmetic embellishment to her armor provided it doesn't detract from its protective qualities.

And yes, in Mount & Blade, women and men are physically equal. Don't believe me? Take a look at Arwa or Lady Isolla in combat.Armor like is still practical. So is armor likeis a bit more 'fancy' than I'm looking for, but still within the vein of functional. Also, it's not unheard of for a noble to wear a suit of armor that's been cosmetically embellished as a way of showing off their wealth, so a lot of the cosmetic flashiness on armor can still persist without harming so-called 'realism.' Edit: Also, why do you feel the overpowering need to try and tear me down for asking a simple question? Is it too much for you that I want to play the game my way and not your way?

Does the mere idea that I might want something in my own mod that's not in yours? Is it because I'm not playing the game the way you feel like it should be played?I guess the stream of downvotes tells me what I really need to know about this game's community. I'm sorry you're being downvoted so badly just for being wrong. You're making your argument and therefore contributing to the conversation you started with your post. Some background: I've known armorsmiths in the past (worked with them a little to get an idea of the labor that goes into its creation as well as the drawbacks and sacrifices made with each armor type choice), and the pictures you've linked are just really bad from a practical armor perspective.

I also have a reasonable history of studying martial-arts weaponry. While I did not practice with weapons while in armor, I did attempt it.While sure she's fictional, she is strong and sized like a man.

Real (movie style) armorsmiths made the armor for her. It's not actual battle armor, but it's much closer than what you linked. It's still not feminine. Here's what's wrong with your examples: 1 You cannot fight in a steel corset. You cannot swing your weapon with any force, no matter your strength. I would bet money you could not even adequately draw a bow in such armor. 'Boob armor' is a joke.

Breasts would be squashed against the chest by the breastplate (a pun!) rather than have their shape featured. This would save weight (and a good breastplate is very heavy) and help in a small way with the center of gravity.

You take any small advantage you can get when your life in on the line. 2 Leather armor. You really don't want to be in leather armor in hand to hand combat when your opponent is wearing steel. It does look nice though, and is actually on a woman rather than a painting like #1.

Just like my in example, the legs are largely neglected for the actor's movement. 3 This is not armor in any way other than being a dress made to look 'armory.'

If I were to guess at the rational of your downvoters, I would guess that this is what caused them to think you're not serious in your argument. It is the most feminine of your examples because it is the least realistic.Femininity and its differences aesthetically from masculinity is one of pleasant curves versus straight lines. Armor by its utilitarian nature will obscure those lines. When you reduce the feminine figure too much, it becomes nearly indistinguishable from a masculine figure. When I first played Mount and Blade, I made a female character. When I saw that it was a serious game with a serious approach to armor, I made my next character creation choices by how I wanted to play the story rather than how I wanted my character to look-because on the battlefield they look the same, just as the would in real life.At least they didn't make it bra-and-panty plate armor!.

Armor like is still practical. That is squishing her center. A real woman couldn't move properly in that.

Comes under 'figure hugging.' So is armor likeThat looks better. Also note it is less feminine - that's not a coincidence. But anyway it still needs to be taken out in the middle to allow for more flexibility and less hourglass figure showing.is a bit more 'fancy' than I'm looking for, but still within the vein of functional. That's not armor, that's a spray-on spandex suit with a chainmail pattern on it. If it were real chainmail that woman could not breathe.

Real chainmail is not elastic. It doesn't expand and contract.
