The Steam Workshop replaces the Civ5 in-game mod selection feature for everybody whether you have installed Gods and Kings or not. The Steam Workshop does not only allow you to browse the available mods in-game but also when you are not running the game from the. There you can find a mod you really like and check out what the author else made, and follow the author to see what else the author will release in the future. There you can create a collection of mods and share them with your friends. And even you like a mod but don't want to install it right now, you can mark and track it for later. If you like a mod you can directly let others know about it and comment in the Steam Workshop, directly. Civilization 5 Patch 1.0.2.13 has been released.
